Sound Paths: Free Reparation Meditation

3435 Cesar Chavez Suite 204

We live in a country plagued with extremely high levels of stress and no communities know this reality more than POC, LGBTQIA, and women. Stress is linked to the six leading causes of death: heart disease, cancer, lung ailments, accidents, cirrhosis of the liver and suicide.

You are all welcome to this free reparation sound meditation designed specifically for deep relaxation and stress relief. Joshua W. Bruner is a sound meditation practitioner at Anchor Meditation Studio who creates restorative ambient soundscapes using the bio data from plants and his own brainwave data to generate comforting meditative music.

Through the healing properties of sound, we can clear away overgrown neural pathways which allows us to improve our sleep cycles and relieve built up stress from our daily experiences. Learn simple techniques you can use in those times when you feel overwhelmed by the pressures of systemic oppression and the unavoidable side effects of living in a turbulent society as a marginalized person

Bring a mat, pillow, eye mask, and blanket to truly appreciate this experience.
